| Warning! Danger of hearing loss |

Here is my public service announcement. Hearing loss from listening to loud music may not surface for ten years. So if you are listening to your iPod loudly and thinking, "my hearing is still fine, so my sound level must be ok," you should stop. Research has found that earbuds or external headphones have the same effect and that you can listen as long as you want to music that is only 50% volume of what is considered loud.

| Lyrics that make me think |

As you may know, I rarely pay attention to lyrics. I can often make up lyrics that I like better, and paying attention is just too detail-oriented for me the majority of the time.
But every once and a while people who write songs actually make a difference to me and inspire some thought on my part.
