| Unauthorized Thanksgiving Feast |

We were dog sitting for a beautiful English setter over Thanksgiving. She was used to having her food out at all times, so we left her food in the bathroom with the door shut, letting her in occasionally to eat. Hermes somehow got in while we were out having Thanksgiving dinner. We estimate there was about 2 cups of food in the bowl. When we returned, he was waddling and his belly was clearly distended. Hermes usually gets 1/2 a cup of food a day. We were lucky he didn't get sick! He usually begs for food when we get home. This time, not so much. |
